MARN Scholarships

Ruth Lang Fitzgerald Memorial Scholarship:
The Ruth Lang Fitzgerald Memorial Scholarship was established by the Fitzgerald family in memory of Ruth Lang Fitzgerald, a founding member of MARN and a long time member of the American Nurses Association, who passed away in January 2005. The scholarship had been earmarked for academic scholarship only but has been changed.

Now this scholarship is to be given to a MARN member to pursue an area of interest or special project that will be beneficial to the member and/or the Association. The scholarship may be used to attend an educational conference, the Annual ANA Convention or some other educational activity. It may also be used for participation in a humanitarian aide project.

Application deadline: October 30.

Arthur L. Davis Publishing Agency Scholarship:
This scholarship is awarded yearly to a MARN member to pursue a further degree in nursing or for a child or significant other of a MARN member who has been accepted into a nursing education program.

Amount of Award: $1000

Application deadline: March 15.
